HeatBox Heating ("we," "our," "us") provides gas heating and boiler maintenance services for domestic properties within the United Kingdom.
By using our services, you ("the Customer") agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
We offer installation, repair, and maintenance services for domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
All services are carried out by Gas Safe-registered engineers to ensure quality and safety standards.
Services are offered on a call-out basis, as part of an annual maintenance plan, or through warranty packages.
3. Appointments and Access
Appointments can be booked via phone, email, or our website (where applicable).
The Customer must provide safe and clear access to the boiler and any required equipment.
Missed appointments or inaccessible premises may result in additional charges.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Ensure boilers and heating systems are reasonably accessible and that known issues are communicated in advance.
Report faults promptly and do not tamper with equipment.
If work requires shutting off gas or water, the Customer must make any necessary alternative arrangements (e.g., for heating or hot water).
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices are published online and can be confirmed before work begins. Written estimates are available upon request.
Labour Rates:
Repairs are charged at our standard hourly rate.
Work is billed per hour unless we have agreed a fixed price with the Customer before starting.
Parts and Materials:
Parts used during repairs will be charged in addition to labour.
Costs for required parts will be discussed and approved by the Customer before installation.
We use original manufacturer parts wherever possible and will provide alternatives if available.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur charges as permitted under UK law.
We accept payment by credit card, cash, and online transfer.
6. Warranty and Liability
Warranty on Work:
All work carried out by our engineers is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of repair.
The warranty covers both parts and labour for issues directly related to the original repair.
If an issue arises within the warranty period due to our work, we will return to resolve it at no additional cost.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from boiler failure or issues unless caused by our negligence.
7. Health and Safety
Our engineers strictly adhere to health and safety regulations. We require the Customer to ensure that the working area is safe and that pets or children are kept clear of the work area.
We reserve the right to halt work if conditions are deemed unsafe, and charges may apply for rescheduled appointments in such cases.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
Refunds for prepaid services will be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on work completed to date.
9. Limitations of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure the reliability of our services, we are not liable for any breakdowns or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g., weather, supply chain issues).
Any advice provided is based on the information available and does not substitute for regular maintenance and safe usage practices by the Customer.
10. Bank Holidays and Special Dates
Services performed on bank holidays, including Christmas, New Year’s Day, and other public holidays, may incur additional charges due to higher demand and limited availability.
Any holiday-related price changes will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
11. Privacy Policy
Customer information will be kept confidential and used solely for providing our services. We comply with all UK data protection laws (GDPR).
12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under UK law.
